Case Study:Amrita Massage - Supporting Yuka to grow by taking her massage business online

Yuka, the founder of Amrita Massage, is a talented masseuse, yoga instructor, and Japanese food caterer based near Nimbin. As a good friend, Yuka approached me to help her increase her massage bookings and expand her overall business presence. After discussing her goals, I recommended creating an online presence, as many masseuses in the Nimbin area lacked functional websites and online booking options. With an increasing number of new residents in the region, building an internet presence offered a high chance of connecting with these potential clients through local Google searches.

Creating a Unique Online Identity

Over several weeks, Yuka and I worked collaboratively to build a brand that reflected her personality and services. Together, we developed:

  • A Brand Style Guide: Defining her business name, colour scheme, and logo.

  • A Functional Website: A platform to showcase her services, including massage, yoga classes, and Japanese catering, while also hosting her blog.

The goal was to create an online presence that felt uniquely hers, blending her cultural heritage and holistic practices into a cohesive brand.

Practical Results

The result of this collaborative effort was a beautiful, functional website that set Yuka apart in her local market. Amrita Massage now provides clients with easy online booking and detailed information about her services. This streamlined approach has dramatically increased her massage bookings, bringing her close to full capacity. Additionally, Yuka has added another day in town to provide an alternative massage space, further expanding her reach.

Beyond massage, Yuka resumed teaching yoga classes, offering Japanese food catering, and maintaining a blog to share her insights and expertise. This multi-faceted approach has allowed her to diversify her offerings and build a more robust and interconnected business model.
