Educational Background
I hold a Bachelor of Business in Tourism & Hospitality from La Trobe University, where I developed a strong foundation in business management, marketing, and economics. This education provided me with critical business acumen, equipping me with the skills to navigate complex business environments.
Professional Experience
My career began in hospitality and corporate travel, where I honed my skills in customer service, event management, and business operations. Transitioning into marketing and business management, I demonstrated my strategic acumen and creativity.
As a business owner, I have successfully launched and managed two farming enterprises. I am the founder and creative director of Piccolo Edibles, where I oversee all aspects of the business, including marketing, e-commerce, and brand development. My innovative approach earned me the FIAL Innovation Grant. My expertise in growing and freeze-drying edible flowers has set my business apart in a competitive market.
Previously, I managed Piccolo Farm, a market garden that grew and supplied organic fresh produce to families, restaurants, and shops. We also ran workshops and events, and when the business environment changed during COVID, I created an app to distribute produce from local farms, enhancing our services and ensuring local food distribution to families. Achievements and Contributions
My contributions to PR in the agricultural sector include being a panel speaker at multiple events, podcasts and featuring in media such as Better Homes and Gardens and Country Living. We have been recognized for innovation and excellence in produce, winning several Delicious Produce awards.
Personal Journey
Originally from Sweden, I migrated to Australia 20 years ago. My diagnosis with Sjögren's syndrome in my early twenties has significantly shaped my coaching philosophy and brought me much personal insight and strength. I understand the importance of setting authentic goals that align with one's true values, rather than conforming to societal expectations. I value freedom of choice, creativity, autonomy, creating impact, and precious time spent with family and in my garden. This perspective enables me to guide clients through their challenges with empathy and insight, helping them achieve both personal fulfillment and professional success.
Creating a space where individuals, especially women, feel seen and valued for their authentic selves and empowered to run their businesses their way is of key importance to me.
